The 2012 CAFF festival season opens in two weeks with the FRIGID New York Fringe Festival!
Riding the fringe of winter, the hit celebration of independent theater will run February 21-March 4, 2012. Horse Trade Theater Group will present the 6th Annual FRIGID New York Festival, an open and uncensored theatre festival that gives artists an opportunity to let their ingenuity thrive in a venue that values freedom of expression and artistic determination.

Fringe Theatre Adventures (Edmonton) Seeks New Executive Producer
Fringe Theatre Adventures in Edmonton, AB has put out a call for a new Executive Producer.

“The Executive Director is responsible to the Board of Directors for the effective business and program leadership of Fringe Theatre Adventures and for implementation of policies and plans approved by the Board with specific focus on delivering on the vision regarding revenue generation, public image and programming excellence. Keys to success will be successful, ongoing stewardship of FTA while maximizing the revenue generating capabilities of the festival, the facility and overall fundraising initiatives.”

CAFF Touring Lottery Deadline: Tuesday, October 18, 5:00pm EST
The 2012 CAFF Touring Lottery closes on Tuesday, October 18 at 5:00pm EST. Visit the Touring Lottery page for more information.
*A word to the wise… don’t wait until 4:00 or 4:30pm EST on the 18th to fax your application. The fax machine will be very busy in the hours leading up to the deadline and you may not be able to get your application through.
Lottery Timeline:
The 2012 Touring Lottery will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in London, Ontario.
Lottery winners will be contacted by phone and e-mail immediately following the lottery. Winners must accept or reject by Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 5:00pm (EST). Failure to respond by this deadline will result in loss of lottery spot.
Results will be posted on the CAFF website and e-mailed to all entrants on Friday, October 21, 2011.
